What is Roundup?

Monsanto ordered to pay $289 Million Verdict
The Monsanto Roundup herbicide lawsuit alleges that Monsanto failed to warn users of the increased risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other forms of cancer. In 2018 a groundskeeper in a San Francisco court was awarded $289.2 million in the first Roundup lawsuit. The California state court prior to the trial cleared the way for experts to testify in federal cases against Monsanto. Reported in Monsanto’s securities and exchange filings stated that is was facing lawsuits from over 5,000 people nationwide who claim they were harmed by glyphosate due to the use of Roundup.
